It was late August 2006. I was so excited to attend the 3-day/2-night O'camp to meet with those MBA candidate to start my 2-year MBA life.
The site we stayed is in southern China - Nansha. It was a newly constructed 5-star hotel. There were 2 hundred something people in this camp, most of us are thirty something and I was a little younger compared to them, feel like a little child, haha.. There were more men in general and IT streams while more gals in fashion stream. Anyway, the main focus of us were meeting people around and making friends, which is what we called "networking". And this shall be the most valuable asset for studying MBA apart from what we would learn in the class.
To me, making friends is good and even better, I could know people doing the different business to know more about this world. Another most important task to do in this camp is to find some partners for coming course. So at least, you will not be studying alone and be with some good teammates for projects ahead. I was not worrying about that since we were divided in several groups to compete in the camp. So it was easy to find your right partners if you were intended to do this throughout those activities although I was not.
It was fun again for team-building games and lot of funs when talking to other people around. I'd like so much social gathering.
To be continued...
